A day in my life Feb 17, 2025

Hello There, officialuddi is here. Yesterday, we, hostel 7 won the knockout chess tournament and today at midnight trophies were distributed. At 00:00 AM, I, with Rittik and one of his friend were sitting inside H7 TT room, observing Wolfended and Sen Hall fighing against each other in Knockout TT match. Rittik told me it consists of 5 rounds and whoever wins the majority i.e. three rounds, wins the final match and ironically, Wolfenden was so strong that they never played more than three rounds to win a single match in the tournament, one senior confirms his statement. Hearing loud noise, I went back to the shortpitch cricket ground where prizes were gathered behind the ground in a stage, learning Hostel 11 won the final match against Richardson Hall. Bunch of players were playing basketball and suddenly the ball was coming nearly on top of me, I ignored and regretted instantly for missing the perfect handkick. Manas was actually telling me to kick it but I missed, later I played basketball with them. Later at 1:03 AM, Tanmoy Mandal, a junior from H8 called me on phone and mocked me by saying I can't do anything if I play chess and also demanded me to talk to the organizers to decrease the volume of the speaker. Anyway, we played volleyball a bit (Resulting me to dislocate one of my finger's position slightly which is still painful for me) and received the trophy. Ordered Rajveer to receive the prize because he only won one chess match in the tournament and then ordered Zaheer to receive the trophy standing next to him. Then I joined them in the left corner. Then the trophy was taken to the ground and after a few photoshoot and numerous hand touches, Rajveer took it with him in front of  H7 and did some photoshoot, pictures clicked by Deepjit, my roommate. I joined them and Deepjit took a picture of me kissing the trophy which looked like I was having private time with the trophy. I bought it inside H7 and Rajveer requested to take it with him to show off to his friends. Anyway, I allowed and came back to 202, my room and immediately started doing the BEE assignment that was due Friday because I was busy playing chess this week. Deepjit requested me to turn off the lamp, but I denied and went on to finish the assignment. Meanwhile, KK came in to give back the trophy and I told him to place it in Shubhayu's table. I actually forgot if it was KK or not. Later Deepjit showed KK some reels and I, with full curiosity, checked KK's CG to find out he got a whopping 7.25 SGPA and 7.06 CGPA. Ok, impressed, I left just half of a page of drawing to finish in the morning. Till then, Deepjit have already slept. Then I slept at 3:17 AM (I guess). I woke up 10:50 AM. Mrinmoy said, "Uddipan's is having a good time", obviously mocking me. So he and Deepjit left for classes and I decided to sleep again. Missing the breakfast, I woke up again at 12:15 AM and brushed my teeth. After that, went to mess and finished taking lunch. Tried to bath today but still forgot. Then I finished the last page of  "Determination of three phase voltage, current relationship". I think I tried to study hard by watching and noting down lecture on Physics "Waves & Oscillations" but ended up watching bunch of movie explanation videos In the afternoon, went outside to eat veg momos and chicken roll, then, I'm writing this now. Today is our grand feast and many participants in knockout tournament from different halls and hostels are invited to our hostel.
